Is the A1A shutdown on Palm Beach island worth it and who’s paying?

Closing A1A for a short time because a presidential candidate is in town is ridiculous, closing it for months because a candidate lives in his private club there is insane. The fact that it is being kept closed even when this candidate not in town is criminal and an insult to those who pay for and use this road. It seems now we have a sheriff’s tent with four vehicles permanently at Southern Blvd and Olive, another of same set up at bridge and also what looks to be a sheriff’s sub station camped in the parking lot of the Bath and Tennis Club. There is also the barricade of school busses again set up at south end of PBIA between Southern Blvd and where said candidates plane usually parks. Who is paying for this? Is this all on the Palm Beach County taxpayer tab or is it being repaid by Secret Service and/or Trump campaign? I think the taxpaying public has the right to know.
